Hollywood Education Institute is located in the heart of Los Angeles.

Our school is conveniently situated next to the Wilshire/Normandie Purple Line Metro Station that connects to all parts of the city.

Subway Station

A couple of minutes walk from campus will take you to the Normandie/Wilshire station, which is a subway line operated by the MTA. This station also has several restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby.


The Koreatown Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library is located less than a mile from Hollywood Education Institute and can easily be accessed by walking just a few blocks.

Coffee Shops

There are numbers of coffee shops located in the area, including Starbucks, Coffee Bean, and many other small cafes.


Hollywood Education Institute is surrounded by restaurants of all types, including Korean, Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Japanese, American, and more. You can choose from full-service sit-down restaurants, food courts, food trucks, and of course, fast food restaurants.


Hollywood Education Institute is located by the Wiltern Theatre, which hosts a variety of events and live concerts. By taking the Purple Line Downtown, or into Hollywood, you’ll find countless shops, restaurants, clubs, and more.


For students who enjoy bowling, Shatto Lanes is located just a few blocks north on Vermont. Shatto lanes has been in business since 1954 and has a vintage charm that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time.


There are numerous gyms and fitness clubs in the area including Willfit, which is just a few buildings down the street.


There are several supermarkets in the area, including Vons and Ralphs on the corner of Vermont and 3rd Street, and the Galleria market in the Galleria Mall.


Some of the banks are conveniently located within minutes from school, including Wells Fargo, Chase, Bank of America, and Nara Bank.

Mobile Phone Shops

 Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile stores can all be found within a short distance from campus.

Drug Stores

There are several pharmacies located within a short walking distance from campus, including Walgreens, CVS, and Rite-Aid

Getting to school by public transportation

Hollywood Education Institute students are eligible to purchase Metro Student ID passes. Students receive a discount for a monthly pass. 


The Normandie/Wilshire station is a couple of minutes walk from campus. The Purple line connects with the Red Line and the Blue Line which lead to all destinations in Los Angeles. The Purple Line also takes you to Union Station, the central hub for all public transportation in Los Angeles. The Metro Rail System is a convenient way to get around town.


Metro Rapid Express #720 steps on the block of the school and can take you to Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Downtown, and Montebello. Various MTA buses also stop in front of the school, making it easy for students to get to Westwood, Hollywood, Jefferson Park, and many other places throughout Los Angeles.
